About The Author
Shana Burton, a native of Macon, Georgia, is the best-selling author the critically-acclaimed Flaws series (Flaws and All, Flaw Less, Flawfully Wedded Wives, and Flawbulous); a memoir, Note to Self: The Diary of a Divorcee; and Georgia Author of the Year (GAYA) Best Fiction nominated book, First Comes Love. She was also nominated for a GAYA award for Flaws and All. Her tenth book, Kiss and Tell, which hits the bookstands in 2020.
Shana Burton is a book club favorite and has earned a spot of several annual “Best Book of the Year” lists. She is a sought-after speaker, moderator, and expert panelist.
Shana Burton is a graduate of Georgia Southern University (B.S in English Education), Cambridge College (M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction), and Thomas University (Ed.S in Teacher Leadership). In addition to being an author, Shana Burton has worked in the field of education for 21 years and currently serves as a high school curriculum coach. She is the founder of “The Writers’ Voice,” which assists aspiring writers in their pursuit of getting published.
When Ms. Burton is not writing, she can be found nursing her addiction to politics and reading or spending time with her sons. On rare occasions, she has also been spotted working out at the gym.
